MLM Software Australia in spite of Austrade A Success Story!

 

Internetnextstep.com.au got started about 7 years ago building MLM Software in Southport QLD Australia.  We aimed to build a world wide clientele. Austrade appeared to want to help with its Austrade Export Market Development Grant program.

When we started $1 USD was almost $2 AUD.  It was a great time to charge in USD for worldwide clients.  Sadly at that time our MLM Software seemed out of reach for Australian Clients.  Austrade seemed interested to help with export only through the Export Development Grant.

In 2005 we got coaxed into going to an Austrade Export Market Development program seminar.  At the seminar it all looked good but we really just didn't believe a government program like Austrade could ever be as good as it looked.

We had a long discussion with the people from Austrade who attended this sales pitch scam of a seminar held by the Austrade export market development grant government employees and were assured over and over we were a shoe in for the program and EXACTLY what Austrade needed to show a great success story.

We were urged heavily by Austrade to apply for the Austrade grant.

The application process is entirely onerous even though Austrade suggested the Austrade program was easy to apply for.  We spent over $9000 preparing the information needed by austrade.  We were ok with this as we were assured our business model qualified and all would be well if we just got in the austrade export development grant application.  We came up with $198,000 in QUALIFYING expenses.

Well as we expected, all smoke and mirrors.  We were refused due to reasons we were assured from the get go would NOT be an issue.  Anything to save a buck for the government.  Maybe we looked too much like we would succeed without them. 

Typical USELESS government program.  $9000 LOSS generated by dreaming it was different.  On top of that, they didn't even have the courtesy to RETURN an entire months of Receipts they needed to see to "Verify" our claims were real. Nice, hope the other side of the government doesn't ever audit us.  Bet they won't believe when we say Austrade has our June receipts.

Well guess WHAT!  We made it.  Internetnextstep.com.au continues to be a successful MLM Software company and we do all our programming in Australia with sales teams in Japan and North America.  Even though Austrade seemed to think we were faking it, I guess we weren't as 4 years later we are bigger stronger and better, and our MLM Software product is second to none in the WORLD and made right here in Australia!

During the years, the exchange rate dropped from $2 AUD per $1 USD all the way to almost parity.  It was KILLING our business, but we perservered.

One great benefit is our MLM Software made in Australia became affordable to Australian MLM Companies.  We started to bring on the odd MLM company in Australia.

Now suddenly things have changed and our MLM Software is more expensive to our Australian Clients and Potential Clients.  We have decided to FREEZE our prices at PARITY for the next little while.  This means our Australia MLM Software will sell for the same number of AUD as we currently sell it in USD!!! 

We want to help Australia and Australians persevere through the current economic woes the word is facing.

Government Help or not, we will continue to compete effectively with our North American counterparts!
